  1. My roots pass through Ogle County. Elijah and Commodore Tilton both enlisted in the 65th Il Inf. Regiment, Civil War. I have found Rachel Tilton's application for Widow Pension (widow of Elijah) on the Fold 3 site. I just noticed Tilton Elementary School and Park so I wondered if I had living relatives in the area. Commodore, my great grandfather, is buried in Glendive, MT. I live in Livingston, MT. Perhaps I'll visit someday. Dennis Tilton
